Project Manager for the Construction District in Stockholm

We are now looking for a project manager for the Construction District in Stockholm. The district works with complex concrete structures in Skanska's large infrastructure projects. The projects vary in both size and cost. We build everything from prisons, bridges, and quays to complex energy projects.
Currently, some of our larger projects are underway, including the reconstruction of Slussen in central Stockholm and BECCS, Sweden's first carbon dioxide capture facility using CCS technology.
Project Manager with Overall Responsibility and Strategic Leadership
As a project manager, you have a key role with overall responsibility for the project, and together with your colleagues, you ensure that you achieve set goals. You build strong relationships, drive development, and create value together with our customers.
With us, you will be part of the district's management team and work closely with the district manager to drive strategically important issues. We want to be at the forefront and create a culture where humility, collaboration, solution orientation, and engagement are natural parts of everyday life.
Your responsibilities include, among others:
- Overall responsibility for the projects where you work with the business and production from the bidding and calculation phase to handing over the project to the customer, as well as responsibility for the project during the warranty period.
- Responsibility for the customer, contract, and creating customer value in the project.
- Create conditions for employees and teams through development, learning, health, and inclusion.
- Steer the project towards set financial and production goals that meet our customers' expectations.
- Together with the production manager, develop well-functioning and successful teams.
- Actively work for a culture based on our values where diversity and inclusion are important components.
- Contribute to Skanska continuing to be a role model regarding climate-adapted community building, safety, and profitability.
Project Manager with Experience in Complex Concrete Projects
We are looking for someone who wants to help create sustainable solutions within earthworks and construction projects. With us, you will have a role where you make a difference, together with an engaged team that supports each other and works towards common goals.
Requirements for the position:
- At least five years of experience as a project manager or in a similar position.
- Leadership experience in production, such as a production manager or site manager.
- Post-secondary education in construction technology or equivalent knowledge.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English.
- Good IT skills.
It is an advantage if you have experience in earthworks and construction projects with a focus on concrete work. It is also a plus if you have experience with collaborative projects and an established network in the earthworks and construction industry.

You are communicative and have an easy time building good relationships, both internally and externally. Additionally, you gain energy from motivating and developing employees, and your leadership style is inclusive and inspiring.
